Big news in the MLM industry popped today with more information on the MonaVie Lawsuit.

Got me thinkin’, mmhmm.

About? The internet.

Internet promotion of anything, MLM included, is a fairly new beast.

Hardcore Multilevellers (those who have been in the game for ten, twenty or more years) have built their empires the ‘purist’ way — the only way they know, the way MLMs have been built for decades.

Traditional MLM has generated billions of dollars for innumerable companies, by doing it the old fashioned way — usually face to face, group meetings, phone or whatever.

With these newer companies like Monavie popping up there is a huge opportunity to pioneer, on a wide scale, new ways of marketing something via MLM.

But it can be a scary thing to embrace new ways of doing business.

These new MLM companies are usually headed by executives who have built a sizeable MLM business beforehand — if I’m not mistaken Dallin Larsen was with Usana prior to founding Monavie — so it is only natural that they tell their distributors to build the business the way they did.

The thing is, times are changing.

Change is good.

Why are they not letting MovaVie embrace change?

What do you think about the situation? Sound off.
